The Dragon Boat Festival,  also called the Duanwu Festival，is  one of the most popular traditional festivals in China. It's celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar, in memory of a Chinese Poet - Qu Yuan, who is an honest minister, and said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in ariver.

People celebrate this special festival mainly in two ways: watching dragon boat race and eating Zongzi - rice dumplings.
